AAF joins the US Campaign to  End The Israeli Occupation

Paterson, NJ,  March 24, 2007: AAF, The American Arab Forum is now a full voting member in  the Washington-based US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation, a coalition of more than 200 organizations that are  working together to change US policy in the Middle East and ending Israel's illegal occupation. All organizational members will have the opportunity to send two voting delegates to the annual organizing conference where the membership votes on the direction of the US Campaign for the year and elects the Steering committee.

Aref Assaf, president of AAF acknowledged "the pivotal importance of building a sustainable and well-focused nationwide effort to promote the Palestine cause." He added that, "for the effort to succeed, fellow Americans will need to be convinced of the immense political and economic benefits of enabling the Palestinian people to realize their national aspirations."
By joining like-minded organizations, AAF is solidly engaging all of its resources to achieve a lasting and a just peace in the Middle East. End.
