Dear Editor,

I was utterly delighted to see the excellent story " An unyielding Arab voice" concerning the Palestinian American writer and 'activist' Aref Assaf, published on Easter Day....  A perfect Easter gift- yes I know that Assaf is usually more associated with Islam and Muslim issues, but Palestine is a Christian issue too, and Aref Assaf serves both communities well with his dedicated willingness to speak out with honor and dignity, doing what he can to help make a just and lasting peace possible.

Thank you so much for showing us a modern American hero, someone all our children, regardless of  religion, should sincerely admire and hopefully emulate: We certainly have come a long way from the days when Zionists insisted that there was no such thing as a Palestinian!
