Mr. Malki will regularly contribute original commentaries on the various issues of relevance to the American Arab community, United States foreign policy and intra Arab relations. Mr. Malki holds a PhD in Organization and Management from Capella University. Aref Assaf, President of AAF, said that he 'views with great favor and enthusiasm this welcome addition. Below is a short bio of Mr. Malki My name is Said Malki. I started my professional activity in 1993 at the Department of Finance (Morocco). I was promoted to the post of Divisional Inspector in the same department in 1997. In 1999, I came to the United States as a legal immigrant. My main purpose was to develop my skills in terms of Research-Development and academic skills. I have a Bachelor in International Economic Relations (1993) and Master of Science in Economics (1997) and a PhD in Organization and Management (2005) from Capella University, Minneapolis, MN. My doctoral dissertation focused on United States Dollar Behavior. Specifically, I developed A Multiple Regression Approach in Forecasting United States Currency Exchange Rates against Canadian Currency. Presently, I am a faculty instructor and an economist researcher.
In addition, I took several courses and participated in seminars in many universities such as Columbia University, St John's University, Fordham University, C.U.N.Y, Yeshiva University, and University of Miami.
Furthermore, I had the opportunity to get graduate credits from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and also a certificate from the N.Y.S.E. Also, I wrote several research papers as a member of the Northeast Economics and Business Association (www.nbea.us) and the International Academy of Business and Public Administration Disciplines (www.iabpad.com). I am proud to be ethnically Arab since my ancestors immigrated from Jazirat Al Arab to El Maghreb. They belong to famous Arabic tribes in Morocco. I am concerned about Arabic issues especially the Palestine question, Arab economic integration, and ethnic issues in the Maghreb Arab.
