A rich mix of art,  literature, music, film, and comedy

*12 Noon-7pm: Exhibits by artists Jihan Tannous, Mohamed Khalil, Ghada Massoud.
  Browse through the Book Exhibit. Enjoy the Jewelry Exhibit and Music Recital

* 2 pm: Film Screening of “Salt of this Sea”, by Annemarie Jacir

* 4 pm: Prof. Moustafa Bayyoumi, author of “How Does It Feel To Be a Problem: Being Young and Arab in America”

* 5 pm: Comedienne Maysoon Zayed

* 6 pm: Reception

Free Admission and Open to All

All functions will be held at Dickson Hall. Directions: MSU is at 1 Normal Ave., Montclair, NJ 07043. Get directions at 
www.montclair.edu/welcome/directions.html. Drive through the main entrance to the Red Hawk Parking Deck, park on the 5th floor, and walk from the 5th floor to the adjacent Dickson Hall, Cohen Lounge (follow the signs for “AA Culture Day”).

   The mission of NJ Arab American Heritage Commission is to recognize, study, and share information on   Arab heritage, culture, and history. The Commission is a recognized entity sanctioned into law in 2008 and is established in the NJ Dept of State. April is the officially recognized month to celebrate Arab Culture and Heritage.
