Celebrating Arab and Islamic Art at the Met

On Tuesday, after eight years of renovation, the Metropolitan Museum of Art will open its new Islamic wing — the Galleries for the Art of the Arab Lands, Turkey, Iran, Central Asia and Later South Asia.
